Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Expedition #9 (The Glacier Study Group Series) by Zhao Renhui was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,081.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Zhao Renhui have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work The Institute of Critical Zoologists (The Blind Project) was auctioned for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,490.12).

Die Arbeit Expedition #9 (The Glacier Study Group Series) von Zhao Renhui kam im November 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.081,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Zhao Renhui konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit The Institute of Critical Zoologists (The Blind Project) für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 5.490,12) versteigert.
