A top price for Zhao Renhui
The work The Institute of Critical Zoologists (The Blind Project) by Zhao Renhui was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 47,500.00 (€ 5,490.12), 19% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Institute of Critical Zoologists (The Blind Project) is even the most expensive work of art by Zhao Renhui that we have observed at auctions so far.
