Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Chinese Musical Instruments by Zhao Hao. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 4,504.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers And Birds After Ancient Artists in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 47,214.32).
