Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Zhao Bandi And The Panda: Oppose Violence / Chinese Story by Zhao Bandi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 6,696.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Bandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Kiss in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 5,192,000.00 (€ 611,358.95).

Die Arbeit Zhao Bandi And The Panda: Oppose Violence / Chinese Story von Zhao Bandi kam im April 2008 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 6.696,03) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Bandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Kiss im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 5.192.000,00 (€ 611.358,95).
