Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Block Sars, Defend The Homeland by Zhao Bandi. The price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,316.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Bandi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pink Kiss in June 2014 with an auction result of CNY 5,192,000.00 (€ 611,358.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Block Sars, Defend The Homeland von Zhao Bandi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.316,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Bandi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pink Kiss im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 5.192.000,00 (€ 611.358,95).
