This work of art by Zhang Zuyi could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part IV auction, the work Transcription of Wang Xizhi's Lanting Preface in Clerical Script changed hands for USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,022.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00.
