A top price for Zhang Zuyi
This artwork by Zhang Zuyi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Calligraphy In Lishu sold for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. This high result makes Calligraphy In Lishu the most expensive artwork by Zhang Zuyi that we have observed at auctions so far.
