Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Calligraphy in Clerical Script by Zhang Zuyi for USD 8,825.00 (€ 7,495.33). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Works of Art at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 9,000.00 – 11,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Zuyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Lishu, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Calligraphy in Clerical Script von Zhang Zuyi für USD 8.825,00 (€ 7.495,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Works of Art bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 9.000,00 – 11.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zuyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24) versteigert wurde.
