Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script by Zhang Zuyi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,455.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Zuyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Lishu, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Seal Script von Zhang Zuyi kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.455,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zuyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24) versteigert wurde.
