Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy by Zhang Zuyi. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 4,165.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Zuyi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Lishu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhang Zuyi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 4.165,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Zuyi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24).
