In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Lishu by Zhang Zuyi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,492.17), 63% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Zhang Zuyi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Calligraphy In Lishu sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 63 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Zhang Zuyi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.492,17) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Zhang Zuyi; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24).
