In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Calligraphy In Ancient Official Script by Zhang Zuyi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 69,000.00 (€ 6,417.45), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Zuyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy In Lishu, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,780.24).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Ancient Official Script von Zhang Zuyi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 69.000,00 (€ 6.417,45) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zuyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.780,24) versteigert wurde.
