In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou, which included the work Peony 08 by Zhang Zipiao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 140,462.05), 50% above the upper estimate. Other works by Zhang Zipiao have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CNY 1,260,000.00 (€ 163,095.24) in September this year for the work Mushroom Cloud 02.

Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peony 08 von Zhang Zipiao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 140.462,05) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zipiao haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von CNY 1.260.000,00 (€ 163.095,24) im September diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Mushroom Cloud 02 beobachtet.
