Auction result misses estimated price range
In December last year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscapes by Zhang Zhiwan for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,529.78). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Zhang Zhiwan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,446.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscapes von Zhang Zhiwan für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.529,78) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Zhiwan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.446,17).
