Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Zhang Zhiwan was sold in the Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,455.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Zhiwan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in September 2012 for USD 25,000.00 (€ 19,446.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Zhang Zhiwan wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Painting and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.455,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Zhiwan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im September 2012 für USD 25.000,00 (€ 19.446,17) versteigert wurde.
