Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Zhang Yingnan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work Long Journey sold for HKD 693,000.00 (€ 82,273.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Yingnan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Echo (Painted In 2019) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,320,000.00 (€ 1,347,978.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Yingnan erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Long Journey für HKD 693.000,00 (€ 82.273,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Yingnan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Echo (Painted In 2019) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.320.000,00 (€ 1.347.978,26).
