Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Double-Sided) by Zhang Wei was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 19,180.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ac12 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 131,429.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Double-Sided) von Zhang Wei wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 19.180,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ac12 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 131.429,99).
