Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Morning Of Hong Kong by Zhang Wei was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,593.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ac12 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 131,429.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Morning Of Hong Kong von Zhang Wei wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.593,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ac12 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 131.429,99).
