Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Beijing held the auction Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art, which included the work June by Zhang Wei. The price achieved of CNY 47,200.00 (€ 6,825.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ac12 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 131,429.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Beijing die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit June von Zhang Wei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 47.200,00 (€ 6.825,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ac12 im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 131.429,99).
