Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 61,000.00 (€ 42,900.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 22%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Wei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ac12, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 131,429.99).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 61.000,00 (€ 42.900,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Wei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ac12 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 1.125.000,00 (€ 131.429,99) versteigert wurde.
