The price achieved of USD 37,000.00 (€ 23,410.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ac12 in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,125,000.00 (€ 131,429.99).
