Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Wang Wei’S Poem In Cursive Script by Zhang Ruitu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 220,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 24,763.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wang Wei’S Poem In Cursive Script von Zhang Ruitu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 220.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 24.763,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
