This artwork by Zhang Ruitu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Du Fu'S Poem In Cursive Script sold for USD 62,500.00 (€ 58,188.25) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ruitu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eighteen Luohan in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 2,230,000.00 (€ 1,984,338.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Ruitu erzielte im März 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Du Fu'S Poem In Cursive Script für USD 62.500,00 (€ 58.188,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ruitu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eighteen Luohan im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.230.000,00 (€ 1.984.338,85).
