Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Two Horses Playing by Zhang Mu. The price achieved of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,412.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Zhang Mu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work Eagle was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Horses Playing von Zhang Mu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.412,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Mu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit Eagle für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) versteigert.
