A top price for Zhang Mu
This artwork by Zhang Mu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Eagle sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. This high result makes Eagle the most expensive artwork by Zhang Mu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Mu erzielte im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Eagle für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00.
