Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Eight Stallions by Zhang Mu was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 83,650.00 (€ 8,426.69). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Mu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eagle, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Eight Stallions von Zhang Mu kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 83.650,00 (€ 8.426,69) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Mu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eagle beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) versteigert wurde.
