Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yellow Lilies by Zhang Meili was sold in the 20th Century Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 12,788.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Zhang Meili have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2012 the work Still Life With Flowers And Fruits was auctioned for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,154.89).

Die Arbeit Yellow Lilies von Zhang Meili wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 12.788,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Meili konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers And Fruits für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.154,89) versteigert.
