This artwork by Zhang Meili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Still Life With Flowers And Fruits sold for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,154.89) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00.
