Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhang Meili could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century Chinese Art auction, the work Still Life With Rhododendrons And Apples changed hands for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,268.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Zhang Meili have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2012 by the work Still Life With Flowers And Fruits at HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,154.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Meili konnte im Oktober 2013 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art wechselte die Arbeit Still Life With Rhododendrons And Apples für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.268,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Meili wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2012 die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers And Fruits mit HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.154,89).
