Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Asia, which included the work Reminiscences Series No. 17 by Zhang Linhai. It changed hands for a price of USD 241,000.00 (€ 152,483.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Zhang Linhai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work Red Flag was auctioned for HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reminiscences Series No. 17 von Zhang Linhai zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 241.000,00 (€ 152.483,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Linhai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2007 die Arbeit Red Flag für HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85) versteigert.
