Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Paradise Series No. 14 by Zhang Linhai was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The auction ended at the price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 21,725.93), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Linhai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Flag in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Paradise Series No. 14 von Zhang Linhai wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 21.725,93) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Linhai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Flag im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
