This work without title by Zhang Linhai was sold in the Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2008. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 18,535.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Linhai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Flag in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 251,381.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Zhang Linhai wurde im Dezember 2008 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Sale (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 18.535,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Linhai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Flag im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 251.381,85).
