Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script Calligraphy by Zhang Jian was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 82,600.00 (€ 9,720.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection of Moon in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 147,994.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script Calligraphy von Zhang Jian wurde im Oktober 2016 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 82.600,00 (€ 9.720,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection of Moon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 147.994,81).
