Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bai Juyi's Poem in Xingshu by Zhang Jian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,708.67), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection of Moon in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 147,994.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bai Juyi's Poem in Xingshu von Zhang Jian wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.708,67) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection of Moon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 147.994,81).
