Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Script Calligraphy by Zhang Jian was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,331.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection of Moon in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 147,994.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy von Zhang Jian kam im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.331,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection of Moon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 147.994,81).
