Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Zhang Jian was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. It changed hands for a price of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,964.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection of Moon in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 147,994.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Zhang Jian wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.964,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection of Moon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 147.994,81).
