Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Xingshu by Zhang Jian. The price achieved of HKD 43,750.00 (€ 5,111.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Jian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reflection of Moon in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,437,500.00 (€ 147,994.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu von Zhang Jian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 43.750,00 (€ 5.111,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Jian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reflection of Moon im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.437.500,00 (€ 147.994,81).
