Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Landscapes by Zhang Guchu. The price achieved of HKD 10,710.00 (€ 1,393.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Zhang Guchu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Recluse By The Spring Bamboo in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,557.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Summer Reverie: Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Zhang Guchu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 10.710,00 (€ 1.393,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Guchu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Recluse By The Spring Bamboo im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.557,07).
