Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Poem In Running Script by Zhang Fengyi. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,695.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Zhang Fengyi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script was auctioned for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,594.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poem In Running Script von Zhang Fengyi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.695,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Zhang Fengyi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.594,09) versteigert.
