The work Bird and White Plum by Zhang Fengyi was worth HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,556.60) to a buyer in April 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Fengyi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,594.09).

Die Arbeit Bird and White Plum von Zhang Fengyi war einem Käufer im April 2014 HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.556,60) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Fengyi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seven-character Poem in Running-cursive Script beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.594,09) versteigert wurde.
