In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Ink Landscape by Zhang Ding. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 225,000.00 (€ 22,024.98), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian in July last year with an auction result of HKD 2,880,000.00 (€ 359,364.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ink Landscape von Zhang Ding zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 22.024,98) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.880.000,00 (€ 359.364,83).
