Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2014 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas, which included the work Calligraphy in Seal Script by Zhang Ding. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 55,200.00 (€ 5,133.96). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Ding achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian in July last year with an auction result of HKD 2,880,000.00 (€ 359,364.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2014 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy in Seal Script von Zhang Ding zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 55.200,00 (€ 5.133,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Ding erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Smoky Landscape Of Qilian im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.880.000,00 (€ 359.364,83).
