Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vegetable And Fruits by Zhang Dazhuang was sold in the Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,026.65), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Dazhuang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blossoms In Four Seasons in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,930.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vegetable And Fruits von Zhang Dazhuang wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Fine Modern and Contemporary Chinese Paintings I & II bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.026,65) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Dazhuang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blossoms In Four Seasons im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.930,59).
