A top price for Zhang Dazhuang - as previously expected
The work Blossoms In Four Seasons by Zhang Dazhuang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,930.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Blossoms In Four Seasons is the most expensive artwork by Zhang Dazhuang that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Blossoms In Four Seasons von Zhang Dazhuang wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.930,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Blossoms In Four Seasons das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhang Dazhuang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
