Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Orchids by Zhang Dazhuang was sold in the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction at Bonhams in January this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 5,100.00 (€ 599.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dazhuang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blossoms In Four Seasons in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,930.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Orchids von Zhang Dazhuang wurde im Januar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 5.100,00 (€ 599,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dazhuang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blossoms In Four Seasons im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.930,59).
