This artwork by Zhang Dazhuang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Mountains In The Mist sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,266.50) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhang Dazhuang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blossoms In Four Seasons, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,930.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhang Dazhuang erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Mountains In The Mist für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.266,50) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dazhuang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blossoms In Four Seasons beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.930,59) versteigert wurde.
