Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Demolition - Forbidden City by Zhang Dali was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 40,000.00 (€ 4,118.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Demolition - Forbidden City von Zhang Dali kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 40.000,00 (€ 4.118,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Offspring im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 105.604,52).
