Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Artist's Bust by Zhang Dali for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,731.55). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Artist's Bust von Zhang Dali für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.731,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Offspring im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 105.604,52).
