Sold at the lower estimate price
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work AK-47 by Zhang Dali. The result of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,728.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhang Dali achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit AK-47 von Zhang Dali zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.728,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhang Dali erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinese Offspring im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 105.604,52).
