In May 2016 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work AK-47 by Zhang Dali. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 12,280.53), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Zhang Dali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chinese Offspring in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 91,250.00 (€ 105,604.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit AK-47 von Zhang Dali zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 12.280,53) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Dali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chinese Offspring im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 91.250,00 (€ 105.604,52).
